Senior Advisor, US Institute of Peace

Pamela Aall is senior advisor for conflict prevention and management at the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) and an adjunct professor at American University. She serves as board chair of Women in International Security (WIIS) and is a member of the World Refugee and Migration Council. She has co-authored and co-edited articles and books in the field of mediation and conflict management. Her most recent books are Responding to Violent Conflicts and Humanitarian Crises: A Guide to Participants(Palgrave), co-edited with Dan Snodderly, and Diplomacy and the Future of World Order (Georgetown University Press), co-edited with Chester Crocker and Fen Hampson.
